I'm a wife, momma, working chic, and a few things in between.
Once upon a time, I envisioned myself marrying a dreamy husband, having 2.5 kids who wore matching nautical outfits, and living in a fabulous home in the suburbs. We'd have a golden retriever named Rover, and I would be a domestic goddess.
Fast forward a few years.
I did marry a dreamy husband in 2009.

and, so far, we've got one little boy, PB, who doesn't wear nautical clothes. In fact, he prefers to be naked. We're hoping to resolve this before he goes to kindergarden...
We live in an old, remodeled farmhouse in the country that's over a century old and once belonged to my great grandparents. It has no central air and is less than 1000 square feet. It's perfect.
We have two dogs, Kobe, a mutt from the pound, and BD (brown dog), a stray who followed me home one day.
My gravy never thickens, my craft projects are interrupted by a hungry husband and a curious baby, and my favorite store is the Goodwill. Does this make me a domestic goddess?
I love my Savior, my family, and chocolate ice cream. My life is far from what I envisioned.
And I wouldn't have it any other way.
